Petroleum Technology Development Fund Nigeria Scholarships is open for Selected Countries Nigerian nationality holders only. The scholarship allows Masters, PhD level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at France Universities, China Universities, Malaysia Universities, Germany Universities . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 15 Jan 2020.
Petroleum Technology Development Fund Nigeria Scholarships is available to undertake Masters, PhD level programs at France Universities, China Universities, Malaysia Universities, Germany Universities.
Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.
Nigerian students are eligble only.
A.
MSc
1.
A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) qualification in their
first degree or a Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
2.
Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
3.
Must be computer literate
4. Possession
of 5 O/level credits including English Language.
B.
PhD
1.
Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
2.
Must be computer literate
3.
A minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) in their first degree and
a good second-degree certificate;
4.
Must submit a research proposal relevant to the oil and gas
industry (of not more than 5 pages) to include: Topic, introduction, objective,
methodology and mode of data collection (sample template of the proposal is
available on the scholarship portal ( scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng);
5.
Applicants must also include their master’s degree project

NOTE:
1. Applicants must have a
National Identity Number (NIN) beforeapplying for the scholarship. Applicants
are also expected to upload a NINVerification Report before completing the
application. The report can beobtained from www.verifyme.ng (chargesmay
apply).
2. Ongoing PhD Applicants
could only apply provided theirUniversities are among the PTDF Partnership Universities
as listed above;
3. Applicants who have
benefitted from any of the PTDF scholarshipsin the past cannot apply for the
same category of degree, except a higherdegree;
4. Applicants who are in
possession of a higher degree cannot applyfor the same type of degree;
5. Applicants interested in
German Institutions should choose Abujaas their preferred interview location;
6. Applicants who are
beneficiaries of any other scholarship neednot apply;
7. Applicants who
successfully scale through the first round ofscreening will be requested to
submit their transcripts; all applicants aretherefore advised to prepare their
transcripts for submission in anticipationof such a request.
