Scholarship Description:

The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, in collaboration with the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), is pleased to provide a limited number of scholarships annually to students pursuing various culinary programs:








  1. Apprenticeship program - Scholarship amount: Up to $1,500

  2. Certificate programs - Scholarship amount: Up to $1,500

  3. Postsecondary degree programs - Scholarship amount: Up to $2,500


These scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of our members and partners. Additionally, several dedicated scholarship funds have been established to further support our scholarship initiatives:

  3. AAC John Kacala Scholarship

  4. AAC Ray & Gertrude Marshall Scholarship

Degree Level:

The American Culinary Foundation (ACF) Scholarships, USA. is available to undertake Undergraduate level programs at USA Universities.

Available Subjects:

Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.

  • Culinary Arts

Scholarship Benefits:

Partial Funding up to $2,500.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is open to domestic and international students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be an exemplary student and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Be currently accepted to an accredited institution with a culinary, pastry or foodservice-related major.

Application Procedure:

  • Applications are based on a point system and will be evaluated by the scholarship selection committee.
  • Points can be earned for: academic grade point average; culinary competition participation; culinary volunteer activities; ACF involvement.
  • Students will be notified by email of any scholarship award or denial 30 business days after the application deadline.
  • Applicants are encouraged to reapply if scholarships are needed in future years.
  • ACF reserves the right to cancel any scholarship at any time if the applicant fails to meet the standards of academic progress or falsifies information reported
