The University of Waikato International Master Award in New Zealand 2014

The University of Waikato is offering master award for international students. Applicants have been enrolled and studied at degree level or above at the University of Waikato in 2014. The award will have a value of $2000 and will be applied directly to the recipient’s tuition fees. Application should be submitted till 11th July 2014.

• Award is provided in the field of Master of Arts (MA), Business and Management (MBM), Cyber Security (MCS), Disability and Inclusion Studies (MDInS), Education (MEd), Educational Leadership (MEdLeadership), Electronic Commerce (MECom), Laws (LLM), Management Studies (MMS), M?ori and Pacific Development (MMPD), Media and Creative Technologies (MMCT), Professional Management (MPM), Science (MSc), Social Sciences (MSocSc) and  Sport and Leisure Studies (MSpLS)


• This award is available for pursuing master degree level.


• The University of Waikato is providing these scholarships.


• The University of Waikato International Masters Award has been established to support talented University of Waikato international students moving into masters’ study. The Award offers $2000 for eligible students who have studied at the University in 2014 and are enrolling for the first time into selected masters’ programmes in B or T semester 2014.


• The award will have a value of $2000 and will be applied directly to the recipient’s tuition fees.


• There is no application process for this award. Eligible candidates will be assessed by the relevant


• Faculty when they apply to enrol in one of the masters programmes.

Eligibility: To be eligible, candidates must:
-be an international student
-have been enrolled and studied at degree level or above at the University of Waikato in 2014
- qualify for entry into a selected masters programme
-have achieved a minimum of a B grade average in their most recent 120 points of study
-be commencing fulltime study in a selected masters programme in B or T semester 2014
-be committing to enrol for at least a 120 points of study at the University of Waikato towards a selected masters programme.
