Scholarship Description:

The USEFP Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program 2024 stands as an esteemed initiative for accomplished mid-career professionals globally. This program provides a comprehensive year of non-degree academic coursework and professional development in the United States. It covers tuition, airfare, textbooks, a living stipend, and health insurance.

Degree Level:

USEFP Hubert H. Humphrey USA Fellowship Program 2024. (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at USA Universities.

About the Fellowship:

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program brings accomplished mid-career professionals with demonstrated leadership potential to the United States for a year of graduate-level non-degree academic coursework and professional development activities. This ten month program consists of academic coursework and internship in a relevant professional organization. By providing future leaders and policy makers with experience in U.S society, culture, and professional fields, the program provides a basis for lasting, productive ties between Americans and their professional counter parts overseas. Approximately 18 campuses have been selected through a competitive process to host fellows in group with thematic and subject affinities. Each university is chosen based on institutional resources and the level of support and guidance it offers for academic and administrative support. Faculty advisers also assist Fellows in pursuing balanced academic and professional programs. All participants must return to Pakistan immediately following completion of their program.

Eligibility Criteria:

Citizenship and Commitment:

• Must be a Pakistani citizen.
• Commitment to serving Pakistan upon completion of the fellowship.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional or work experience.

Educational Qualifications:

• 16 years of education required (4-year Bachelor's degree or a combination of 2-year Bachelor's and a Master's degree).

Re-Employment Guarantee:

• A guarantee of re-employment upon returning to Pakistan.

Language Proficiency:

• High level of fluency in spoken and written English.

Leadership Potential:

• Demonstrated potential to assume leadership positions in their respective fields.

Application Procedure:

Interested applicants must apply through the U.S. Embassy (Public Affairs Section) or Binational Fulbright Commission in their country. Application deadlines vary by country. Applications must contain: 

• Complete answers to all questions; essay responses in English must thoroughly address the prompt. 
• Two letters of reference in English; one must be from the applicant’s current employer. 
• Official transcripts in English: Ensure all transcripts uploaded by the applicant are official, valid documents. Transcripts must list courses taken and grades received. Diplomas need only be uploaded if the transcript does not show proof that the degree was obtained. 

After national selection, independent review committees review nominations in the United States, and final candidate approval is determined by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. After receiving approval from the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, the U.S. Embassies and Binational Fulbright Commissions will inform candidates of their status.
