The Vingroup Young Talent Scholarship is the first scholarship established at SMU that will provide full financial support for Vietnamese students pursuing a postgraduate programme at SMU.
The mission of the Scholarship Programme is to find talents, develop them further and provide them with rewarding opportunities so that they have the ability to lead and advance the development of Science and Technology in Vietnam in the future.
This Scholarship is open to Vietnamese students who are interested in pursuing the SMU PhD in Computer Science, SMU PhD in Information Systems or SMU Master of Philosophy in Information Systems, SMU Doctor of Engineering (EngD) , SMU Master of Science in Computing programmes (also known as SMU Postgraduate Research Programmes). The Scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides monthly stipends during the recipient’s period of study.
Scholarship Obligation
Upon graduation, recipients enrolled in the SIS Masters' programmes are expected to return to Vietnam within one year of their graduation of the programme; and those enrolled in the SIS PhD and EngD programmes are expected to return to Vietnam within two years of their graduation of the programme, and contribute to the Science and Technology industry in Vietnam by working or serving in Vietnam for either a Vietnamese public/non-profit university or research institute or a member company of the Donor, for the number of years of support that they receive from the scholarship.
Vingroup Young Talent Scholarship Malaysia 2022 is available to undertake level programs at Singapore Management University.
Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.
SMU will provide the selected students with a first-year scholarship that will cover the expenses incurred towards the first year of the undertaken postgraduate program.
