The Chemical Engineering Dual Degree program at Trent University offers students a unique opportunity to earn two recognized degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Trent and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University. What you'll study

Trent University (Years 1–2)

• Complete essential coursework and maintain the required academic average for progression.
• Accumulate the necessary Trent credits before transferring to Swansea.
• Submit the Intent to Continue onto Studies form to facilitate the transition to the Swansea B.Eng. program.

Swansea University (B.Eng. Chemical Engineering portion)

At Swansea, students will delve deeper into core chemical engineering modules that build upon their foundational knowledge. Key subjects include:

• Separation Processes
• Biochemical Engineering
• Instrumentation, Measurement and Control
• Thermodynamics of Process Design
• Fluid Flow
• Statistical Techniques in Engineering

Capstone / final assessment

In the final year, students will undertake a significant project or design work, culminating in assessments that demonstrate their proficiency in the field of chemical engineering.

Entry requirements

While specific GRE or GMAT requirements are not stipulated for this program, students must meet a minimum academic progression standard to transfer from Trent to Swansea. Proficiency in English is also required for admission.
