Entrance Awards & International Scholarships
President’s International Entrance Award 2026
The President’s International Entrance Award provides a one-time CAD 2,000 bursary to eligible international students beginning their studies at Humber in 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be an international student living outside Canada
Apply to an eligible full-time program starting January, May, or September 2026
Not hold a Humber DLI study permit at the time of application
Exclude English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs
Key Conditions
Accept the offer of admission within intake-specific timelines
Submit a study permit application to IRCC by the required deadline
Pay the CAD 3,000 tuition deposit
Remain enrolled full-time past the withdrawal deadline (Day 10 of classes)
The award is granted once per student and is non-refundable.
International Entrance Scholarships (Diploma & Advanced Diploma)
New international students enrolling in Diploma or Advanced Diploma programs may receive a CAD 2,000 tuition reduction, applied as:
CAD 1,000 per semester over the first two semesters

Only one recipient per country per intake
Scholarship funds are credited after the 10th day of classes in the second semester.
International Onshore Scholarship
International students already living in Canada may be eligible for a one-time CAD 1,000 entrance scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements
Apply for a full-time program starting in:
Winter 2026, Summer 2026, Fall 2026, or Winter 2027
Provide a Canadian address during application
Remain enrolled full-time past the withdrawal deadline
Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis if eligible applications exceed available funding.
Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships
Humber offers automatic, merit-based Bachelor’s Degree scholarships to students entering directly from high school.

Graduates of Humber’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program who:
Achieve 80% or higher GPA in Level 8
Progress into a Bachelor’s degree

Degree Transfer Scholarships
Students entering a Humber degree program after completing prior post-secondary studies may receive automatic scholarships.

EAP International Student Diploma Pathway Award: CAD 500
Academic Excellence in TESL Award: CAD 500
Recipients are nominated by faculty and notified annually.

For international students in pathway English programs using LanguageCert for English proficiency
Barbados Canada Foundation Scholarships
Value: CAD 4,000 per year
For students of Barbadian heritage pursuing post-secondary education in Canada
