Language note: Some specialisation courses are primarily offered in Italian, while the Urban and Political Geography training area is primarily in English.

Entry requirements

Admission to the program does not require GRE or GMAT scores. There is no single minimum GPA threshold; instead, admission is based on academic background and an evaluation of your preparation.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as geography, planning, architecture, geology, environmental sciences, agriculture, economics, political, or social sciences, or another recognized equivalent degree.
  • If your degree is outside the listed fields: You must have at least 6 ECTS in Physical Geography & Geomorphology and at least 6 ECTS in Human Geography.
  • Admission interview: An interview may be required to assess your knowledge in Physical Geography & Geomorphology and Human Geography.
  • Possible interview exemption: Depending on your qualifications.
