The Human Geography and Planning course at the University of Amsterdam offers an in-depth exploration of the dynamic relationships between people, places, and societies. This comprehensive programme equips students with essential research and spatial analysis skills, enabling them to tackle complex social challenges and contribute to informed planning practices. Delivered on-campus, this full-time course spans three years and awards 180 ECTS credits.
The curriculum is designed to blend core academic skills, research training, and geography-focused courses, culminating in a significant research project. Students will also pursue a specialisation track in Human Geography.
