To meet the eligibility criteria for the Master of Food Innovation and Product Design (FIPDes) Program, candidates should take into consideration the following points:

  • Academic Background: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 180 ECTS or its equivalent in fields such as food science and technology, biotechnology, process engineering, biochemistry, nutrition, or related food fields.   • English Proficiency Level: Demonstrated proficiency at the "B2 level" according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR, advanced), which can be established through one of the following methods:
    • TOEFL with a minimum score of 575.
    • Internet-based TOEFL with a minimum score of 90.
    • IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5.
    • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (FCE with B2 level, CAE, or CPE).
    • For students with English as their mother tongue, a copy of their passport is required for verification.
    • For students who have completed a higher education degree with English as the medium of instruction, a certificate from the university is necessary for confirmation.
    • Proof of a stay of more than a year in an English-speaking country, supported by a certificate from the employer or other applicable sources. A copy of the passport page indicating the visa for entry and departure from the English-speaking country is also required for validation.
    • Exemptions may be considered for exceptionally outstanding students with a lower level of English proficiency.
