Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the OCIS Scholarships, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Course Application: Candidates should be applying for a new full-time master's or DPhil course at Oxford University.
  • Intention to Return: Applicants should have intentions to return to their country of ordinary residence upon completing their course.
  • Award Criteria: Scholarships are granted based on academic merit.
  • Field of Study: Candidates should aim to pursue studies derived from or relevant to the Islamic tradition, or studies significant to the Muslim world.
  • Exclusions: This scholarship does not apply to candidates seeking postgraduate certificates or diplomas, part-time courses, or non-matriculated programs.
  • Deferred Offers: Candidates holding deferred offers for the 2024-25 academic year are ineligible for this scholarship.
