University of Memphis believes in fostering a supportive environment for our scholars throughout their academic journey. To maintain eligibility, graduate students must remain enrolled in full-time credit hours each fall and spring semester, while also maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. We ensure transparency in award disbursement and eligibility evaluation, updating award amounts on a semester basis and conducting comprehensive assessments at the end of each spring semester.

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria:

This prestigious scholarship is exclusively available to newly admitted degree-seeking international graduate students on J-1 or F-1 visas. We seek individuals who exhibit exceptional scholarly achievement and possess a deep commitment to academic excellence. To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Obtain a minimum score of 310 on the GRE, with at least 150 in both Verbal and Quantitative sections, and a 2.5 or higher on the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA), or present equivalent GMAT scores.
2. Maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA equivalent to 3.25 or higher on a U.S.A. scale, as evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation agency. We recommend utilizing SpanTran or IEE, our trusted partners, for international transcript evaluations.
