Scholarship Benefits:

Scholarship Value:

• €10,000 per year: This amount is paid directly by Université Paris-Saclay.
• Duration: Covers the academic year, typically lasting 10 consecutive months (September to June).

Travel and Visa Expenses:

• Up to €1,000: Depending on your home country, you may be eligible for additional funding to cover travel and visa costs.
• Payment Timing: Scholarship funds and any travel support will be disbursed only after you arrive in France and successfully enroll in your admitted program.
• No Advance Payments: Unfortunately, the scholarship cannot be paid in advance.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Université Paris-Saclay Master's Scholarship, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be admitted to a Master's program at Université Paris-Saclay offered by one of these institutions: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, UEVE, UPSaclay, UVSQ.
• Fall under one of these categories:
  1. A newly arrived international student, 30 years old or younger during the application year.
  2. A foreign national who has been in France for less than a year and is not currently enrolled in a program leading to a qualification (including internships).
  3. A foreign national who has been in France for less than a year and is taking language courses (type FFL).
  4. A student who previously participated in a non-degree granting mobility program in France (e.g., Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degrees, exchange programs).

Who is not eligible?

The scholarship is not available to:

• Students currently enrolled in or who have previously been enrolled in a French higher education institution (except international students enrolled in a French institution abroad).
• Students who have interrupted their studies for more than 3 consecutive years.
• Students receiving other scholarships or funding exceeding €650 per month.

Bonus for Refugee Students

Université Paris-Saclay, in collaboration with UNHCR and MEnS association (Migrants in Higher Education), offers a bonus system for scholarship applications from refugees or students with subsidiary protection status.

Scholarship Selection and Timeline

Important: Admission to a Master's program doesn't guarantee a scholarship.

Selection Process:

• A jury of university experts evaluates applicants based on:
  • Academic record
  • Personal project
  • (For M2 students) Motivation for a thesis at a Paris-Saclay lab

Key Dates:

• April 30, 2024: Program director selects scholarship candidates.
• May 3, 2024: Deadline for scholarship application (if selected by program director).
• May 7, 2024: Deadline for reference letters and application closure.
• End of June 2024: Scholarship results announced.

Application Process (if invited):

1. You'll receive an email with a link to the online application form.
2. Provide contact details for two referees to submit recommendation letters.
3. Referees will receive a link to complete online recommendation forms.
4. Your application is complete once both recommendations are submitted.

Important:

• Ensure both referees submit letters by the deadline.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline are rejected.

Internship and Scholarship:

• Research internships must be done at a Paris-Saclay lab (scholarship suspended otherwise).
• Company internships must be in France (scholarship suspended if exceeding €700/month).
