Scholarship Description:

Xi’An Jiaotong-Liverpool University Postgraduate Scholarships provide opportunities to international students for studying masters degree programs in china without IELTS as degree programs do not require IELTS certificate and you can get admission on the basis of English proficiency certificate from university.

Degree Level:

Xi’An Jiaotong-Liverpool University Postgraduate Scholarships in China without IELTS 2023 is available to undertake Postgraduate level programs at Xian Jiaotong University.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • A full scholarship: consists of a tuition fee waiver for three years (RMB 240,000 total value) and a monthly stipend of RMB 5,000 for three years (RMB 180,000 total value).
  • A fees-only scholarship: consists of a tuition fee waiver for three years (RMB 240,000 total value);
  • A partial tuition-fee scholarship: consists of up to 50% tuition fee reduction for three years(RMB 120,000 total value).

Eligible Nationalities:

International students are eligible to apply for this Postgraduate scholarship in China without IELTS.

Eligibility Criteria:

XJTLU offers a range of scholarships to highly motivated and dedicated candidates to pursue research leading to a doctoral degree. Qualified applicants may receive financial support including:

  • It is a condition of the award that full scholarship holders are required to undertake a Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant role; while these positions are also available for fees-only scholarship holders and partial tuition-fee scholarship holders, who will be paid with university standard.
  • Scholarships are available for full-time study only, and there are currently no scholarships available for part-time programmes.
  • If you are seeking doctoral funding opportunities, you could either apply for a scholarship for an existing funded PhD project or a scholarship with your own project.

Application Procedure:

APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP FOR AN EXISTING FUNDED PHD PROJECT

You can apply for an existing PhD project which has received funds from the University or external funding bodies. These projects have an established research topic and a formed supervisory team. You can check the below list of funded PhD project for information about specific projects available or contact potential supervisors to discuss funding opportunities.

These projects are remain open until the position is filled. The start date of the programme is normally the first day of March, June, September, or December.

This scholarship aims to cultivate innovative applicants who devote to their original research projects. You can bring your own research project to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship is available to potential doctoral candidates whose principal supervisor is from following schools:

The scholarship application is only open to the applicant applying for a full-time doctoral programme.

TIMELINE

There will be two application rounds for each academic year:

  • First round– applications submitted by 17:00 CST (UTC+8), 15 October will be reviewed in the first round and the successful scholarship recipients will be announced in December.
  • Second round– applications submitted by 17:00 CST (UTC+8), 15 April will be reviewed in the second round and the successful scholarship recipients will be announced in July.

The scholarship deadlines are strictly adhered to and late submission will not be accepted.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION SUBMISSION

The scholarship application should be submitted through online system following the normal PhD application procedure. The admission process of doctoral programme will be initiated after the release of scholarship result.
