AIT Thailand Announces Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship 2024-25

International students seeking to further their education have a golden opportunity at their disposal. The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand is now accepting applications for the AIT Asian Development Bank Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25. This scholarship program, generously funded by the Japanese government, offers fully funded opportunities for students aiming to pursue a Master's degree.

Every year, the Asian Development Scholarship provides 140 scholarships across various fields. These fields encompass Economics, Management, Science and Technology, and other areas crucial for development.

Key Features of the Scholarship:

  • Coverage: The scholarship covers tuition fees, housing (either in a dormitory or an off-campus housing allowance), subsistence allowance, student medical and accident insurance, books, economy class air travel to and from the student's home country, and other miscellaneous travel-related expenses. Additionally, an allowance for thesis/research is provided to cover research-related expenditures.
  • Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must be nationals of an ADB borrowing member country, possess a Bachelor’s degree with a superior academic record, have at least two years of full-time professional working experience, and be proficient in English. The age limit for applicants is 35 years, with certain exceptions for senior officials and managers where the age limit is 45 years.
