The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is offering research grants through its Short-Term Grants program, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, providing opportunities for doctoral candidates and postdocs to pursue research projects in Germany. Eligible applicants with above-average qualifications can receive funding for a period ranging from one to six months, with monthly payments of up to €1,300 for doctoral candidates and postdocs, and €934 for those not yet pursuing a doctoral degree. In addition to financial support, benefits include insurance cover, travel allowance, and support for climate-friendly travel.
