General requirements

  • Candidates must hold a cognate level 8 Bachelor (Honours) degree with a minimum grade classification of H2.2 (or equivalent). Relevant backgrounds include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Architecture, Construction Economics and Surveying, Building Information Modelling, or other closely related degrees that provide knowledge of BIM as both a technology and a process.
  • If you do not meet the H2.2 performance standard, you may be required to complete a qualifying assignment at H2.2 performance level, as determined by the Programme Board and approved by the Registrar.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be considered in line with ATU policies, following principles of transparency, equity, and fairness.
