Kasetsart University (KU) Bangkok Thailand, Agro-Industry Scholarships 2024. (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, PhD level programs at Kasetsart University.

Scholarship Benefits:

• Master Students will receive a full tuition and enrollment fee waiver and monthly stipends for living expenses at the rate of 12,000 Thai Baht for 2 consecutive years (maximum of 24 months).
• Ph.D. Students will receive a full tuition and enrollment fee waiver and monthly stipends for living expenses at the rate of 12,000 Thai Baht for 3 consecutive years (maximum of 36 months).

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualified applicants must:

• Not be a Thai citizen or a permanent Thai resident.
• Meet the requirements for admission to the selected programs and the Graduate School of Kasetsart University.

Selection Criteria:

• Scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence and research potential in the areas of agro-industrial technology management, biotechnology, food science & technology, packaging & materials technology, and product development.
  
• Submission of the original English language proficiency score will be helpful to the Master’s applicants for the scholarship consideration (submission is required for Ph.D. applicants).

Application Procedure:

1. Review the information about the graduate programs of the Faculty of Agro-Industry at Faculty of Agro-Industry and the information about admission to the graduate school of Kasetsart University at Kasetsart University Graduate School.

2. Fill out the online application form for Kasetsart’s Agro-Industry Scholarships at Online Application Form. After completing the form, you will receive a PDF file via email for your reference to submit it for KU admission.

3. Fill out the online application for KU admission at KU Admission Online Application.

4. Send the following required document files to the Application Unit, Educational Services Section at fgrakkc@ku.ac.th (cc to phuthai.b@ku.th) with the subject line “Kasetsart’s Agro-Industry Scholarships 2024”.

THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

For Ph.D. Applicants:

• Scanned files of bachelor’s and master’s degree transcripts, showing conferred degrees and graduation dates.
• Scanned files of bachelor’s and master’s degree certificates.
• Scanned file of English proficiency examination score (mandatory for Ph.D. applicants).

For Master Applicants:

• Scanned files of bachelor’s degree transcripts, indicating conferred degree and graduation date.
• Scanned files of bachelor’s degree certificate.
• Scanned file of English proficiency examination score (if available).

For Both Ph.D. and Master Applicants:

• PDF file of the “Kasetsart’s Agro-Industry Scholarships Application Form 2024”.
• Scanned file of the first page of the passport.
• Scanned file of a one-inch applicant’s photo, in proper attire (taken within the last 6 months).
• Conceptual proposal of a research topic (3 – 4 pages A4).
• Three letters of recommendation.
• Curriculum vitae.
• Any other relevant information deemed necessary by the applicants.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Complete applications must be received by April 16, 2024.
• Scholarship recipients will be notified by email on May 10, 2024.
• Program commencement will be communicated.
