A 36-credit MBA that combines flexible online delivery with periodic in-person intensives and four specialist concentrations. Suited to experienced professionals seeking promotion, a sector change (for example into international agriculture or nonprofit leadership), or leadership and coaching skills while remaining employed.

What you'll study

The MBA offers four concentrations so you can shape the degree to particular career goals:

  • Executive Coaching and Leadership: prepares students to become leadership coaches addressing executive-level challenges.
  • International Agriculture: targets employment and leadership roles in the international agricultural sector.
  • Management: emphasizes functional business management topics with courses such as product design, life-cycle strategies, and emerging trends in marketing and branding.
  • Non-Profit Administration: focuses on practices and standards for effective nonprofit leadership.

Delivery features include 100% online classes, weekly message-board discussions, one night per week live Zoom classroom sessions (recordings available), and at least one in-person weekend intensive each year. The program also offers three related graduate certificates (executive leadership coaching, international agriculture, non-profit administration) that confer nine graduate credits transferable toward the MBA.

Entry requirements

Applicants must submit a completed online application, official transcripts showing an undergraduate cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (provisional admission possible for lower GPAs with additional documentation and Program Director approval), a professional resume, and two recommendation forms (at least one academic reference unless the applicant is three or more years from degree completion, in which case two professional references are acceptable). International applicants should consult the MBA international student information. Course transfer rules: up to 6 graduate credit hours may be transferred from regionally accredited institutions if transfer courses earned a grade of B- (2.67) or above, are generally no older than 10 years, and are judged by program directors to reasonably substitute for Huntington courses; transferred courses do not carry transfer grades into the GPA.

Career prospects

Graduates are prepared for leadership and management roles across sectors corresponding to their concentration: executive coaching and leadership positions supporting executives and teams; management roles focused on product, marketing and branding strategy; leadership and operational positions in international agricultural organizations; and management or executive roles within nonprofit organizations. The included international learning experience and concentration-specific coursework are intended to enhance readiness for roles requiring cross-cultural business understanding or sector-specific leadership.
