What you'll study

Coursework combines advanced design studios, directed research at scales larger than a building but smaller than a city, theory seminars, and technical media courses. Examples of listed courses include:

Studio and research topics explicitly address urban history and theory, 3D fabrication, data modeling and digital twin cities, biodiverse and resilient urban systems, composite building typologies, and adaptive reuse/infill strategies. Students use GA/LA/UD fabrication labs, participate in climate science workshops, and present work in an annual Fall Exhibition featuring large physical models and AR/VR work. Class sizes are small (about 8–12), with studio critiques involving faculty, peers, and industry professionals.
