A fully online Master of Science in Cybersecurity offered as an Accelerated Graduate Pathway for students who declare a Cybersecurity major. Suited to motivated undergraduates who want to complete a BS and MS in as few as five years and prepare for advanced, ethically grounded cybersecurity roles across industries.
During the pathway you will take graduate-level Cybersecurity courses that simultaneously count toward your undergraduate Cybersecurity major and the MS program. The graduate curriculum provides in-depth learning designed to develop advanced, highly skilled cybersecurity professionals and to enhance ethical behaviour when working with cyber assets.
To be eligible you must declare a major in Cybersecurity and meet progress standards for the pathway. You are required to earn high grades in specific courses and maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. While still an undergraduate you must submit the graduate program application and all required admission materials; your Academic Advisor will guide you through the application process.
The programme is intended to prepare graduates for advanced cybersecurity positions across all sectors and industries and to help students move into leadership roles in cybersecurity sooner by completing both BS and MS credentials in reduced time.
The pathway is described as time-saving and cost-saving: students can save up to 15 credits worth of tuition, fees, and expenses by double-counting eligible graduate courses. Admissions counselors and Academic Advisors are available to discuss admissions, program fit, and student support options.
