William Penn College

2 Programs 1 Degree levels

A professionally oriented master's that emphasizes human-centered leadership skills over technical or quantitative subjects. Suited to mid-career professionals and aspiring managers who want to lead teams, improve organizational performance, and develop stronger communication and systems-thinking abilities.

What you'll study

The program builds human-centered leadership skills rather than concentrating on financial or operational minutiae. Students learn strategies for effective communication, tools to understand and work within complex organizational systems, and approaches for guiding people and teams to improve performance and achieve purposeful outcomes.

Entry requirements

Applicants must provide a completed online application, official transcripts, and proof of an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is expected; applicants with lower GPAs are evaluated case-by-case by a review committee. Additional application materials include two letters of recommendation (with completed recommendation forms), a current resume, and a Statement of Purpose of 500–1000 words describing professional goals and how the degree supports them. William Penn does not require GMAT or GRE scores. International applicants whose native language is not English must meet TOEFL score thresholds (173 computer-based or 500 paper-based), with some exceptions.

Career prospects

Graduates are prepared to take on roles that require leading people and teams, improving organizational performance, and applying systems-aware problem solving. Typical career directions include team leadership, organizational development, people management, and other positions where interpersonal leadership and clear communication are primary responsibilities.

Scholarships & funding angle

William Penn notes affordable tuition rates and options for students. The program aims to keep admissions straightforward and supportive; standardized graduate tests (GMAT/GRE) are not required for entry.
