What you'll study

The curriculum totals 60 credits and is organised into foundation courses, workshops, core courses, concentration courses and a capstone. Students must complete a minimum of 30 credits at ULAB (residency requirement).

• Pre-program requirements: 2 courses (3 credits)
• Mandatory seminars/workshops: 6 (0 credits)
• Foundation courses: 10 courses (30 credits) — waiver possible for previously completed foundation courses with at least a B grade
• Core courses: 4 courses (12 credits)
• Concentration courses: 4 courses (12 credits)
• Capstone course: 1 course (3 credits) — Strategic Management (MBA 0413700) integrates learning through synthesis

Per term course load is a minimum of nine credits (three courses) and a maximum of eighteen credits (six courses); exceptions require the Director's permission. A student may transfer up to 16 credits in the first term, subject to rules and director approval; transferred credits and grades do not count toward ULAB CGPA.

Entry requirements

Admission is based on prior academic record and acceptable admission test scores. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s GPA of 2.00 and one of the following secondary education conditions: SSC and HSC GPAs of at least 2.5 each, or an aggregate rule where one may be 2.00 provided SSC+HSC aggregate is 6.00. Alternatives accepted include O/A levels (O level in 5 subjects with GPA≥2.50 and A level in 2 subjects with GPA≥2.00), GED average of 450/800 with no subject below 410, or international secondary qualifications such as IB/American High School Diploma. Candidates may also be considered with minimum test scores of TOEFL 550 and GMAT 500. Admission form fee and documentation requirements are handled through the admissions office.

Career prospects

The programme targets preparation for managerial and leadership roles that require strategic decision making, cross‑cultural awareness and applied business skills. ULAB highlights alumni working in sectors such as real estate and project management and offers industrial exposure through field trips (examples include visits to warehouses, manufacturing facilities and ports) to connect classroom learning with workplace practice.
