FieldEnvironmental Science

A 13-month professional MSc delivered in English that trains managers to design, pilot and embed energy‑climate transformations in organisations. Suited to engineers and graduates aiming for strategic, operational and change-management roles in sustainability, it combines academic teaching, immersive production‑line simulations and an alternating work contract.

What you'll study

The programme emphasises applied, practice-led learning through case studies, hackathons with corporate partners and projects on real production lines. Topics explicitly covered include CO₂ and energy issues, water, waste, environmental and biodiversity considerations, systemic approaches to energy‑climate challenges, lean management and continuous improvement methods. Graduates acquire skills to establish diagnostics, design transformation trajectories, pilot implementation and embed continuous improvement across organisations.

Entry requirements

Acceptable applicants are holders of a Bac+5 (engineering or management degrees conferring the master grade, RNCP level 7 or equivalent) or holders of a Bac+4 in agreement with the Conférence des grandes écoles. A B2 level in English (or equivalent) is required. Admission steps: submit a dossier (CV, cover letter, recommendations, diplomas, diploma supplement, ID, transcripts) on the school platform (calls open in October), dossier review, motivational interview with the programme team, and validation of the alternance contract and company missions. For non‑EU candidates the programme is accessible via a contrat de professionnalisation or contrat d’apprentissage under specific residence‑permit conditions; C1 French certification is requested in certain cases and certified translations are required for non‑French documents.

Career prospects

Target roles listed by the programme include transformation manager, sustainability/RSE manager, organisational manager in industry, and roles in strategy, consulting, sustainable development and change management. The year includes a full-time immersion semester to strengthen workplace readiness.
