What you'll study

The program is delivered across two phases:

• Years 1–2: Integrated foundational biomedical sciences taught alongside clinical skills and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).
• Years 3–4: Clinical rotations, featuring core clerkships in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Psychiatry and Family Medicine, followed by elective sub-internships.

Students train in a new 130,000-square-foot facility that includes a state-of-the-art simulation hospital (16 mock exam rooms and five flexible acute-care simulation suites), an anatomy and OMM lab for hands-on practice, a teaching kitchen focused on nutrition and prevention, and a 200-seat tech-enabled grand lecture hall.

Entry requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Competitive applicants typically have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Two letters of recommendation are required.
• MCAT scores are accepted if they are within three years prior to enrollment.
• Prerequisite coursework must be completed prior to matriculation with a minimum grade-point average of 2.0 in those courses.
• Applications are submitted through AACOMAS.

Career prospects

Graduates earn the D.O. degree and are prepared for residency training and clinical practice with an emphasis on whole-person care and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. The program’s guaranteed, locally secured clinical rotations and specialized tracks (including underserved care, medical education, research and clinical technologies) are designed to support preparation for a range of primary care and specialty residency pathways.
