Programme overview

The Clarke MBA is a 32-credit, 100% online graduate degree delivered in eight-week, four-credit course blocks so students can take one course at a time. The program is designed to balance leadership and management skill development with opportunities to build professional networks; instructors and classmates are active professionals. Students can complete the degree in less than two years by following the program rotation. Financial aid is available. Tuition is listed at $560 per credit hour on the program page.

What you'll study

Coursework pairs core management and leadership topics with applied projects, case studies, simulations and other active-learning methods. The program offers optional certificate tracks that add focused coursework:

• Business Management certificate — courses on organizational management, marketing management, and either human resources or project management.
• Sports Management certificate — courses addressing finance, marketing communications, and management issues specific to athletics.

Clarke highlights that faculty teach from real-world experience and use active learning techniques such as simulations, projects and case studies.

Entry requirements

Clarke does not require GMAT or GRE scores for MBA admission. Minimum GPA expectations are specified: a 3.0 GPA is required for full MBA admission, while certificate programs require a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applications may be submitted at any time; newly admitted students typically begin in August or October (fall), January or March (spring), and May or June (summer). Current Clarke undergraduates may apply MBA Early Access and complete up to 12 graduate credits during their senior year that count toward both degrees.
