What you'll study

Instruction emphasizes integrated skill development: listening comprehension, spoken interaction and pronunciation, reading strategies, and written composition. Classwork typically covers vocabulary building, grammar in context, academic and workplace communication, presentation skills, and listening to and producing authentic media. Courses use classroom activities, group projects, and targeted practice to accelerate fluency and accuracy.

Entry requirements

Applicants are usually non-native English speakers and must complete an admissions application and a language placement or assessment to determine appropriate level placement. The programme may accept learners of varying proficiency, from beginning through advanced levels, with entry guided by assessment results rather than prior credits.
