Entry requirements
Academic requirements
- Minimum GPA: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 on the UW–Madison campus.
- Credit requirement: Complete at least 54 credits as part of the Individual Major.
- Major proposal approval: Admission to the degree pathway requires the approval of your Individual Major in Education proposal and accompanying program plan.
English requirements
- Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum score of 115.
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 80.
- IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5.

Other requirements
- Submit an Individual Major in Education proposal form.
- Include the program plan and narrative with your application for approval by the associate dean.
