What you'll study

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally required to hold a recognised bachelor's degree. Admissions typically consider your academic transcripts, a statement of purpose outlining professional goals in language teaching, and one or more letters of recommendation. International applicants whose first language is not English (for the English-route) will normally need to provide evidence of English language proficiency; applicants to a French-route may be asked to demonstrate proficiency in French. Relevant classroom or tutoring experience, prior teacher training, or professional involvement with multilingual communities are advantageous. Some applicants may be invited to an interview or asked to submit a sample lesson or teaching portfolio.
