What you'll study

The programme builds on a core MBA curriculum in finance, accounting, marketing, strategy and leadership, and adds a coherent sequence of courses and experiential learning centred on operations and operations strategy. Typical areas of study include operations management, supply chain strategy, service operations, process analysis and design, project management, and operations analytics.

• Core MBA modules: managerial economics, financial reporting and analysis, marketing management, organisational behaviour, corporate strategy, and decision models.
• Operations-focused modules: operations management, supply chain and logistics, quality and process improvement, service operations, project and program management, and operations strategy.
• Quantitative and analytics: business analytics, data-driven decision making, simulation, forecasting and optimisation techniques applied to operations problems.
• Electives and special topics: lean and Six Sigma applications, sustainable supply chains, procurement strategy, healthcare operations, and technology in operations (e.g. digital supply chains, Industry 4.0).
• Experiential learning: consulting projects, practicum courses, capstone strategy/operations projects, and opportunities for corporate residencies or internships with industry partners.

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate strong academic performance. Successful candidates typically bring several years of professional experience, particularly in roles that show leadership potential and responsibility for business processes or teams.

• Academic transcripts and a competitive GMAT or GRE score (waivers or test-flexible pathways may be available in certain circumstances).
• Professional résumé outlining career progression and relevant accomplishments.
• Personal essays or statements that articulate career goals and fit with the programme.
• Letters of recommendation from supervisors or professional referees who can speak to leadership and managerial potential.
• Proof of English language proficiency for applicants whose first language is not English (tests such as TOEFL or IELTS), unless exempted.
• Interview: many candidates are invited to interview as part of the selection process.
