What you'll study

This master’s brings together core clinical sciences, evidence‑based practice and applied practicum work. Coursework emphasises advanced diagnostic reasoning, therapeutic intervention strategies, outcome measurement and interprofessional collaboration.

• Advanced Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Reasoning — differential diagnosis, clinical decision making and use of diagnostic technologies relevant to allied health professions.
• Therapeutic Intervention and Treatment Modalities — contemporary intervention approaches across rehabilitation, respiratory, speech, imaging or other allied health specialisms, depending on student pathway.

Elective options allow tailoring to particular allied health disciplines and may include advanced imaging interpretation, paediatric or geriatric care, rehabilitation technologies, health informatics or leadership and education in allied health.

Entry requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an allied health field or a closely related discipline (examples include physical therapy assistant, respiratory therapy, radiography, speech‑language pathology preparation, occupational therapy support disciplines, or biomedical sciences).
• Evidence of satisfactory academic performance at undergraduate level; programmes typically expect a competitive cumulative GPA and may consider the context of coursework in the applicant's discipline.
• Current professional licensure or certification where applicable, or eligibility to obtain licensure for clinical practicum placements.
• Professional résumé or CV and a personal statement outlining clinical experience, career aims and reasons for graduate study in allied health practice.
• References (typically two academic or professional referees) attesting to clinical aptitude and potential for graduate‑level work.
• Some applicants may be invited to interview; prior clinical experience is often an advantage for practicum placements and advanced coursework.
