What you'll study

This interdisciplinary master’s combines core concepts from health professions education, clinical and biomedical ethics, and the medical humanities. You study theories and practice of adult learning and curriculum design for clinical learners, approaches to assessment and program evaluation, and contemporary issues in professional formation. The curriculum balances coursework with mentored scholarship; most students complete a capstone, project or thesis that demonstrates applied competence in education, ethics or humanities scholarship.

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree. The programme is designed for graduates from health-related disciplines (for example medicine, nursing, allied health, pharmacy, public health) and for professionals with relevant experience in health or higher education.
