What you'll study

The programme covers core accounting principles and the practical skills needed for entry-level professional roles. Typical modules include financial accounting, managerial accounting, intermediate accounting, taxation, auditing, and accounting information systems. You will also study supporting subjects such as business law, ethics in accounting, finance, statistics and spreadsheet/database tools for accounting. Many curricula culminate in a capstone or practicum that integrates technical knowledge with applied problem-solving and professional communication.

Applicants typically need a high school diploma or recognised equivalent. Admissions decisions are based on academic transcripts and may take into account prior college study or relevant professional experience. Transfer applicants can often bring in qualifying college credits subject to credit-evaluation policies. Some students will be required to complete placement assessments or preparatory coursework if foundational quantitative or writing skills need reinforcement.
