Students choose a specific level and method pathway (for example early childhood, elementary, middle grades, secondary content, or specialised methods such as literacy, STEM or special education) to focus their coursework and applied experiences.

• Level- and method-specific modules: age-appropriate pedagogy, content-specific strategies, classroom management for targeted levels, and differentiated instruction techniques for identified populations.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Candidates with an initial teaching qualification or current teacher licensure are particularly well suited to the pathways that focus on specific levels and methods, though applicants from related educational roles (for example instructional coaches, curriculum specialists or special services personnel) are also considered. Typical application components include academic transcripts, a current curriculum vitae or résumé, a personal statement describing professional goals and experience, and one or more professional references.
