What you'll study

The Management and Operations concentration is built on a core BBA curriculum that covers foundational business disciplines alongside the liberal arts. Course work emphasises process improvement, resource planning, organisational behaviour and data‑driven decision making. Typical modules and subjects include:

• Foundations: Principles of Management, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Principles of Marketing, Business Law, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
• Operations and Supply Chain: Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics, Production Planning and Inventory Control.
• Management and Leadership: Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Strategic Management.
• Quantitative and Analytical Skills: Business Statistics, Data Analytics for Managers, Decision Models and Forecasting.
• Ethics, Policy and Capstone: Business Ethics, Sustainable Operations, and a senior capstone or integrative project that applies management and operations tools to a real organisational problem.

Students also complete Illinois College's general education requirements to develop communication, critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.
