What you'll study

The programme combines core business courses with a specialised information systems curriculum to prepare graduates to analyse business requirements and deliver technical solutions. You will study a mixture of technical, analytical and management topics with a strong emphasis on applied projects and real-world problem solving.

• Core information systems modules – systems analysis and design, database design and administration, enterprise systems, and information systems development methodologies.

• Capstone and experiential learning – guided practicum, capstone project or internship providing hands-on experience with clients, allowing you to apply systems development life-cycle skills end-to-end.

Electives and special topics may include mobile application development, advanced databases, cloud services, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and IT consulting. Coursework emphasises teamwork, presentations and use of contemporary tools such as relational database management systems, business intelligence platforms and version control systems.
