• Data, GIS and Valuation Technology – use of geographic information systems, data sources, valuation software and automated valuation models (AVMs).
• Specialised Property Types – valuation of retail, office, industrial, multi-family and special-purpose properties.
• Capstone / Applied Project – a practical appraisal assignment or project that applies learned techniques to a real or simulated valuation problem.

Delivery is typically professional‑oriented and flexible, often offered in part‑time or blended formats to accommodate working students. Assessment methods include assignments, case studies, modelling exercises and a capstone valuation report.

Entry requirements

Applicants are usually expected to hold an undergraduate degree in a related discipline such as business, real estate, economics, urban planning, engineering or geography, or to demonstrate equivalent professional experience in property, finance or assessment. Typical admissions materials include a résumé, academic transcripts and a statement of purpose. International applicants must meet the university's English language proficiency requirements. Relevant professional experience can strengthen an application, particularly for applicants without a directly related degree.
