It suits working professionals seeking broad managerial skills or a focused specialization (accounting, healthcare, HR, leadership & ethics, marketing, project management, or supply chain & logistics) and who want to complete the program in as little as one year part‑time as needed.

What you'll study

The curriculum develops core business capabilities—accounting, healthcare management, marketing, leadership, supply chain—and emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and decision making through applied coursework. The program highlights include:

  • MBA 840 Business Analytics — quantitative techniques and systems approaches for managerial decision making.
  • MBA 895 Strategic Management — integrates business functional learning to evaluate and direct an entire organization’s competitive approach.
  • MBA 885 Ethical Leadership — leadership theories and the analysis and resolution of ethical dilemmas.

Students may choose a general MBA or specialize in: Accounting; Healthcare Management; Human Resource Management; Leadership and Ethics; Marketing; Project Management (PMP‑aligned); or Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Nine‑credit professional certificates are available in the same subject areas and are fully transferable into the MBA.

Entry requirements

The GMAT is waived for most applicants. Applicants may request a waiver if they meet one of the following: hold a master’s degree or higher; have an undergraduate GPA of 3.4 or above; have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 plus three or more years of professional experience; or have five or more years of documented managerial experience. Affordable online prerequisite courses are available to help students prepare for graduate study.

Career prospects

The program targets professionals aiming for greater responsibility, leadership roles, or executive advancement. Typical fields and roles associated with the MBA include marketing manager, CEO, financial advisor, operations manager, CIO, supply chain analyst, strategy consultant, HR manager, project manager, investment manager, marketing research analyst, healthcare administrator, logistics manager, and quality assurance manager. The program also emphasizes connection to LVC’s regional economy in central Pennsylvania while remaining accessible to students outside the state due to its online format.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Lebanon Valley College notes employer discounts and discounts for Pennsylvania Commonwealth employees and their dependents; prospective students are encouraged to inquire about these and other funding opportunities. The program also offers short‑term certificate options for incremental upskilling that can be completed and applied toward the full MBA.
