Coursework progresses from foundational studio and production classes to specialized costume design and construction studies. Early courses introduce theatrical design and production alongside stage costuming, theatre drawing and graphic arts. Subsequent work includes costume rendering and assistant designer practicum assignments. Advanced topics cover fashion history, costume construction and pattern drafting, and seniors complete faculty-evaluated capstone projects and a professional-preparation course that builds portfolios and professional websites.
