Entry requirements

• English proficiency: at least Credit C6 in GCE O Level English; or Grade B in IGCSE English (as a Second Language); or IELTS 6.0; or TOEFL PBT 550; or TOEFL iBT 60; or Band B2 in the UBD English Proficiency Test.
• Mathematics: at least Credit C6 in GCE O Level Mathematics or Grade B in IGCSE Mathematics.
• GCE A Level: pre-2017 UCAS tariff — minimum 160 points for two A Level passes or 200 points for three A Level passes in relevant English-medium subjects including one subject such as Mathematics, Physics or Economics; UCAS tariff — minimum 64 points for two A Level passes or 80 points for three A Level passes with similar subject relevance.
• International Baccalaureate: Diploma or Certificate with minimum 24 points, including at least 5 points in each of two relevant Higher Level subjects (one may be Mathematics, Physics or Economics), or 5,5,4 for three relevant Higher Level subjects.
• HND/Advanced Diploma: relevant HND or equivalent recognised by the University Senate; a statistics or mathematics course at HND level with Merit or above can stand in for the mathematics requirement.
• Other qualifications: first year of a Bachelor degree from institutions recognised by Senate considered case-by-case.
• Applicants with prior work experience: at least five years' related work experience plus at least one GCE A Level pass or equivalent in a relevant subject.
