Coursework balances theory and applied practice in media selection, marketing research and digital analytics. Students learn to conduct marketing research, interpret digital analytics to inform decisions, and develop communications plans for real clients.
Applicants may enter the four-year honours program. Eligible graduates of the Business Administration – Marketing Ontario College Advanced Diploma or the Business – Marketing Ontario College Diploma can apply to the pathway program and receive up to 12 course credits, reducing the program length to three years.
Graduates typically pursue roles in media and communications teams across government, non-profits, associations, advertising and digital agencies, and private corporations. Job areas include advertising, public relations, marketing communications, social media, professional writing and journalism.
