Suited to working tradespeople seeking promotion, to launch or manage a trades-related business, or to prepare for further graduate study in management fields.

Liberal studies electives are chosen outside the main field of study and support critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, communication, knowledge of society and civic engagement.
This pathway is intended for graduates of the Motive Power Technician Ontario College Diploma; those graduates receive credit for 10 courses and begin in semester 4. Applicants must complete an application and be accepted into the program prior to registering for courses. The program is delivered part time and entirely online; courses do not require on-campus attendance and have no fixed class meeting times.
Graduates combine practical trade experience with business and management foundations and are positioned to start or manage small-to-medium trades businesses, pursue management roles in larger organisations, or improve operations in existing businesses. Employment may be available in private and public sectors where leadership, management, entrepreneurship and adaptability are valued. The program also supports pathways to graduate study in business and management.
