Universidad de Salamanca

18 Programs 1 Degree levels

A combined six-year programme that awards both the pharmacy degree (a regulated profession) and a degree in management of small and medium enterprises. It suits students who want professional pharmacist training together with business and SME management skills, delivered in a coordinated timetable to allow study of both degrees concurrently.

What you'll study

Students follow the curricula of both underlying degrees and are incorporated into the teaching groups of each Grado. The programme specifies the annual ECTS distribution across the six years to accommodate both titles: 72 ECTS in year 1; 75 in year 2; 71 in year 3; 65 in year 4; 60 in year 5; and 79 in year 6. Practical classes in the Faculty of Pharmacy may be organised in specific groups when necessary to guarantee access for double-degree students.

Entry requirements

Admission is through the university procedures for the double-degree plan (a dedicated pre-enrolment code and a limited number of places). The published last admitted cutoff (3rd and final list, 25/07/2025) was 11.305. Administrative management (enrolment, ECTS recognition, documentation for fee exemptions, change of group requests) is handled by the Faculty of Pharmacy. Students who wish to abandon the double degree and continue in just one of the degrees must request this before 31 July of the academic year prior, must have passed at least one third of the double-degree credits, and must meet the minimum admission grade for the single degree they wish to join.

Career prospects

Graduates obtain both the pharmacist qualification (a regulated professional title) and a degree in SME management. This combination prepares students for roles in community and hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry and research environments where pharmacy expertise is required, as well as positions in small-business management, entrepreneurship and SME administration that benefit from scientific literacy alongside management training.

Scholarships & funding angle

The university references scholarships, study and mobility grants available to students. Specific financial aid, mobility support and application procedures are administered through the university’s scholarship and mobility services and the Faculties involved; applicants should consult those official channels for current opportunities and eligibility rules.
