What you'll study

The combined curriculum integrates the subjects from the Degree in Information and Documentation and the Degree in History into a single study plan of 390 ECTS across six courses. Students are incorporated into teaching groups using alternate semester scheduling so that mandatory and basic subjects from both degrees do not conflict; coordination of timetables and exam dates is managed centrally to avoid overlaps. Mobility periods abroad, if undertaken, are attached to one of the two component degrees and the choice determines which courses and credits may be recognised on return.

Entry requirements

Admission follows university procedures for access, preinscription and matriculation; the double degree has a distinct pre‑registration code and a limited number of places (15 in 2026‑27). The programme is presencial and taught in Spanish. The published last admission cutoff (3rd and final list, 25/07/2025) for related entry was 7.124 (June list).

Career prospects

Graduates receive two official degrees: Graduado/a en Información y Documentación and Graduado/a en Historia. Administrative management of the double degree is the responsibility of the Facultad de Traducción y Documentación, while administrative procedures tied to an individual degree (for example, exam tribunals, complaints, certificates, and issuance of degree documentation) are handled by the faculty responsible for that specific degree (Information and Documentation or History). The structure supports pathways that combine documentary/information work with historical research and heritage roles.

Scholarships & funding angle

The university lists scholarships, study and mobility aid relevant to the programme; documentation for tuition exemptions (for example, scholarships or large‑family status) is processed through the managing faculty. For mobility, complementary norms of the hosting faculty regulate recognition of credits earned abroad.
