Entry requirements

Applicants must fulfill the University of Limerick's entry criteria for the undergraduate Computer Science Common Entry program. Specific requirements may vary based on the applicant’s educational background.

For those using the Irish Leaving Certificate, the minimum requirement is six subjects, including:

• Two H5 (Higher Level) grades and four O6 (Ordinary Level) grades, or
• Four H7 (Higher Level) grades

The subject requirements include Mathematics, Irish or another language, and English.

A Special Mathematics Examination may be offered by the University of Limerick for students who do not meet the Mathematics requirement based on their Leaving Certificate results.
