What you'll study

The IST curriculum blends computing, systems engineering and business-oriented topics to teach how information flows are designed, implemented and secured. Core technical modules typically cover programming fundamentals, data structures, databases and SQL, systems analysis and design, networking and operating systems, web development and cloud technologies, and introductory cybersecurity. While standardised test submissions may be optional depending on the admission policy at the time of application, strong grades in quantitative subjects and demonstrated interest in technology-related activities improve prospects.
