What you'll study

This programme combines core business studies with a progressive sequence of accounting courses that develop technical skills in financial reporting and analysis. Early years cover foundational topics such as principles of financial accounting, managerial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics and business statistics. Upper-level modules focus on intermediate and advanced financial accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting information systems and specialised topics such as governmental and not-for-profit accounting, consolidations and financial statement analysis.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a high-school diploma or equivalent with a solid record in mathematics and English. Typical applicants present completion of college preparatory subjects; certain foundational courses in mathematics or business will be advantageous. Mature applicants with relevant work experience or prior college credit are considered through the college's admissions process. Where applicable, applicants may be asked to submit transcripts, a personal statement and references; transfer applicants should provide college-level transcripts and course descriptions for credit evaluation.
