What you'll study

The program requires 30–33 credit hours (typically 10–11 courses) and offers concentrations in three high-need areas: elementary education, English as a second language (ESL), and special education. Courses are scheduled in the evenings—one meeting per week during fall and spring semesters (5:00–7:50 p.m.) and twice-weekly meetings in the summer (5:00–8:30 p.m.). Some courses may be delivered in hybrid format. Meredith reports a 100% pass rate for program graduates on the Praxis exams.

Entry requirements

The MAT at Meredith serves college graduates who do not yet hold a teaching license and applicants pursuing licensure through residency.
