What you'll study

Students take research, foundation and core coursework supporting inquiry in special education and leadership. Many endorsement courses are available online without a designated weekly meeting time; other courses meet on campus. The degree culminates in a thesis and includes a classroom-based practicum required for the endorsement.

Entry requirements

Admission is selective. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and verification of prior certification as a teacher or education staff associate. A departmental selection committee of Teaching and Learning faculty reviews and approves application materials.
