What you'll study

The curriculum is career-focused and designed to be immediately applicable to elementary classrooms. Coursework covers lesson planning, classroom management and subject-specific pedagogy, integrated with field placements. Practical experience totals 13 weeks of practicum: a four-week practicum in the first year and a nine-week full-immersion practicum in the fall semester of the second year.
